Iittala Kaamos Exhibition
September 11th - 12th
Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki

The Iittala Kaamos exhibition delves into the inspiration behind the new Iittala AW24 collection that explores the intersection of opposites when our endless summer light is transformed, not into

a monotone of darkness, but into equally endless shades of twilight. The Kaamos exhibition features the new collection, including ten unique glass sculptures hand crafted by the brand’s master glassblowers.

The vast scale and character of these mouth-blown sculptures contrast with the delicate nature of glass, embodying the opposites found in Finnish nature. Throughout history, life as part of nature has been shaped by various beliefs and rituals. From this uniqueness comes the power that these glass sculptures interpret.

For the visitor, the Kaamos exhibition offers an immersive experience that embodies the essence of  the polar night in northern Finland.
