Hanna Anonen is a Finnish designer based New York, working across conceptual designer and exhibition architect based in New York whose practice uses spatial installations and objects to build narrative worlds, her work is recognized for its bold use of color, playful forms, and a distinctive ability to bring joy and character into everyday objects and spaces.
Her practice moves fluidly between exhibition architecture, spatial concepts, and collectible objects, using each project as a vehicle for research, storytelling, and collaboration.. Her work has been exhibited internationally and featured in leading design publications, earning recognition for its fresh interpretation of contemporary Nordic design. In 2021, she received the Young Designer of the Year Award from Design Forum Finland.
Throughout her career, Anonen has collaborated with renowned brands, cultural institutions, and design companies including Iittala, Made by Choice, Hakola, Mifuko, Design Museum Helsinki, and the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York. Her approach combines strong visual storytelling with functionality, creating objects and environments that are both expressive and deeply human.❤️
